Desperate Times

Fired up

We are living in truly desperate times. Inequality in the world escalates exponentially to levels that would make feudal kings wet with envy. Propped up by an economic system rooted in the blood of the exploited and based on logic which denies most known natural and physical laws. War and the manipulative demonization of the “other” make of normal everyday folk blood-thirsty fanatics. Consumerism continues to trash the idea of living a meaningful existence according to one’s dreams. It attempts to replace it with assembly-line, cradle to grave socialization and prohibits mankind from wandering too far away from material acquisition and greed. Deviously brilliant government campaigns promoting fear strip their citizens of what little freedom they have left, indirectly revealing what the real agenda is. It seems sometimes that we have been cursed to “ live in interesting times.”

And at the same time there is more hope than ever. Important lessons have been gained through advances in the understanding of the material plane and its undeniable connection to the what lies beyond. The dispersion of information has reached a feverish pitch allowing us the means to form new networks of likeminded individuals across the boundaries of space. People around the world are using these new tools for the promotion of humanity, justice and equality. As the opportunities to think outside the cage are growing, the cages grow too. Clearly, it becomes ever more important to turn to unconventional means of utilizing these resources for the evolution of mankind.
